To have an aligned mind, soul and body, one of the areas to focus on is how you are nourishing your body with nutrients. You can't be aligned if your body is cut short of full expression and that's the same for the other two; mind and soul. You need all three in balance to live life in full expression. It takes good nutrition to live fully in your body.


Good nutrition and getting sufficient levels of nutrients is a key way to improve your overall health. Not getting sufficient nutrients in your diet can contribute to serious diseases. You can get nutrients from the foods you eat by eating a balanced diet and this provides fuel for your brain, blood circulation, muscle, bones and immune system.


To improve your overall health and receive the benefits of nutrients, science supports a plant-based diet. A plant-based diet includes eating foods such as:


  • Leafy greens e.g. spinach
  • Cruciferous vegetables e.g. broccoli
  • Berries e.g. blueberries
  • Nuts e.g. almonds
