5 habits to practice daily to change your life
How important is a daily practice in changing your life? Harvard researchers have found that the first hour of your day has the most impact so best to use that 60 minutes wisely. Having a daily morning practice can set you up for success and make you feel good about your day. Here are 5 habits to create your morning ritual and change your life.
1. Priming your brain
Spend time reading through your life goals. Visualise and emotionalise your goals. This requires you to visualise and feel what it's like to have already achieved your goals. Focusing on your goals each day, means you focus on the changes you want to bring into your life and then the universe can support you with manifesting it. When you're neutral or negative, you will just attract more of the same. You want to remain laser focused on what it is you are wanting to achieve. This will also help you stay motivated every single day.
You can also spend time writing down the top 5 things you feel gratitude and appreciation for. This will prime your mind to have a more positive mindset and reduce stress at the beginning of your day. This supports you deeply appreciating all the good that's already in your life.
2. Meditate
Meditation will set your mindset up for the day. It plays a big part in managing your emotions and thoughts, reduce stress, stay focused and get more done. Add 30 minutes to your daily practice.
3. Exercise
Exercise is empowering as you feel stronger and more energised. Your exercise routine doesn't need to be strenuous, it can include dancing, yoga poses or running or bouncing on a mini trampoline. Do something you enjoy and commit to exercise every day. It gets the blood and energy flowing throughout your body and supports you to live longer. It also releases dopamine so you feel better.
4. Affirmations and Empowering Beliefs
Write down affirmations and empowering beliefs that support what you want to create in your life. Then each week choose one affirmation and empowering belief to focus on daily. Repeat these at least 5 times and really feel positive when you say them. They can be stated out loud or silently. Here are examples of an affirmation and an empowering belief:
Affirmation - I am happy and grateful that I now have my ideal job.
Empowering belief - Money comes easily, frequently and effortlessly everyday.
5. Reflect on what's in your way
Each day you want to give some thinking time to what is getting in the way of you achieving your goals. Often there will be fears blocking you from success.

Once you know what's in the way, commit to at least two actions that will help you to side step or go around your fear or challenge. Commit to taking actions everyday towards your goals and dream life.
